Since the American Bulldog (AB) is not recognized by the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) and not by the Norwegian Kennel Club (NKK), it is not possible to show your AB at a NKK show. The breed is recognized by the Norges Hunders Landsforbund (NHL). NHL was approved by Landbruksdepartementet in Norway as a provider of pedigrees on the same terms as NKK in 1961.
The AB can be shown on the NHL all breed shows in Norway and at SHK shows in Sweden. You find information on NHL shows at www.norgeshunder.no
CCBulls Dumle
The American Bulldog Club of Norway (ABKN) arranges a breed special every year with two shows only for AB and many other activities one weekend every year. The shows are then sanctioned by an international AB organization in which experienced breeds are judged. Visit ABKN at; www.amerikanskbulldog.no
